Located at the iconic Kippax Ovals in Holt, our training and matches transpire on hallowed grounds. Notably, the Kippax first-grade ground’s recent upgrade has solidified its stature as the premier cricketing facility in Canberra, adding to our pride.

Our Programs

Men’s Cricket

The Ginninderra Cricket Club field 6 senior men’s sides, within the ACT Premier Grade Cricket Competetion.

Our fifth and sixth grade sides are the current reigning premiers.

Women’s Cricket

Ginninderra Cricket Club will again field a senior women’s cricket side in the Lynne O’Meara 40 over competetion and the Glenda Hall Twenty20 competition.

Junior Cricket

Ginninderra Cricket Club have an outstanding junior program aims to provide a safe and fun environment for children of all ages who wish to learn the game of cricket.

Veteran’s Cricket

Ginninderra Cricket Club will again look to field a team in the Veteran’s Cricket ACT Competition.

Club History

Founded in 1854, Ginninderra Cricket Club boasts a rich history and achieved grade status in 1979, now competing in the ACT Premier Cricket grade competition, the highest level of grade cricket in the region. 

The club is inclusive, fielding teams across all six senior grades and the women’s competition, along with junior sides for boys and girls of all ages. Over the summer months, the club’s junior development squad, The Tiger Academy, diligently nurtures the talents of young cricket enthusiasts.
