Ginninderra Cricket Club: Celebrating 50 Years

From humble beginnings to a powerhouse in ACT Premier cricket, Ginninderra Cricket Club marks 50 years since entering top-grade competition in 1979. With a proud legacy of nurturing talent, building community, and championing grassroots sport, the club will celebrate its milestone with a special Anniversary Dinner ahead of the 2025/26 season.

As part of the 50‑year celebrations, Ginninderra announces an Anniversary Dinner to honour the club’s rich history and launch what promises to be another incredible season ahead of the 2025/26 cricket season.

About Ginninderra

Ginninderra Cricket Club, based in Belconnen, ACT, is a prominent participant in the ACT Premier Cricket competition, fielding teams in six men’s grades, two women’s grades, veterans’ competitions, and hosting the annual Belco Bash. Emphasizing values like inclusion, teamwork, respect, and growth, the club welcomes players of all backgrounds and abilities. Training and matches take place at the upgraded Kippax Ovals in Holt, recognized as Canberra’s premier cricketing facility. Additionally, the club nurtures young talent through its vibrant junior program, fostering a passion for cricket among boys and girls, and prides itself on its professional and community-oriented ethos.
